Your Project, Clarified

Frequently Asked Questions

This web development FAQ answers the most common questions about pricing, timelines, revisions, hosting and how projects work with Dacso.

We begin by understanding your goals, audience, required pages and functionality. We then confirm the scope and price in a written proposal before moving through design, development, testing and launch. The exact stages and handover depend on the agreed project, but you will review the work at the approval points set out in your proposal.

Timing depends on the number of pages, required functionality, content readiness and how quickly feedback is approved. We confirm an estimated schedule in the written proposal after the scope is clear. Requests or delays outside that scope may change the delivery date, and we will discuss that with you before proceeding.

We normally need your goals, required pages and features, logo or brand assets, approved text and licensed images, plus one decision-maker who can provide consolidated feedback. If content, copywriting, photography or branding is not ready, tell us during discovery so we can exclude it clearly or quote suitable support separately.

Our Launch Website is £200 for the fixed scope shown on the Pricing page. Business Websites start from £350, Ecommerce Websites start from £500, and integrations or bespoke functionality receive a custom proposal. Your written proposal confirms the final price before work begins; extra pages, features, content work, paid software and third-party costs can increase it.

A DIY platform gives you software; DACSO provides an agreed design-and-build service. We turn your approved content and requirements into a responsive website, configure the included enquiry or ecommerce features, complete the agreed technical SEO foundations and test the finished build. Copywriting, branding, advanced SEO and custom functionality are included only when your proposal says so.

Your written proposal sets out the payment schedule for the agreed project. An initial payment is normally required before work is scheduled, with the balance or agreed milestones due as the project progresses and before final launch or handover. We will show the amounts and due dates before you accept the proposal.

You will be involved at the agreed review and approval stages. To keep the project moving, we ask one decision-maker to send consolidated feedback for each revision round. The Launch package includes one revision round; the Business and Ecommerce packages include two. New pages, features or directions outside the agreed scope are quoted separately before we do the extra work.

The Launch, Business and Ecommerce packages include one eligible standard domain, website hosting and SSL for the first 12 months, subject to the limits shown on the Pricing page and confirmed in your proposal. Launch includes 14 days of post-launch defect support; Business and Ecommerce include 30 days. This support covers agreed functionality that does not work as specified—it is not ongoing maintenance, content editing, SEO work or unlimited technical support. Any continuing maintenance or renewal service is quoted separately before you commit.
